Two years later and the first Dota 2 Pro Circuit featuring rosters from all six of the major competitive regions is finally here, with many of the best ...
For the Group Stage, matches between both groups will be played from Aug. 4 to 8, with teams being seeded into the playoffs or eliminated depending on their performance. Every team in both groups will face each other in best-of-two series, with the top four teams from each moving on to make up the eight teams in the upper bracket of playoffs. PSG.LGD, Royal Never Give Up, and Team Aster finally getting to play the big boys from other regions in-circuit is enough to get a lot of fans excited.
Like in the ESL One Stockholm 2022 Major, the teams here are divided into two groups. Both are competitive and fun to watch, but Group A has one extra team ...
Royal Never Give Up decided to use the GG all 22 minutes after the start of the game and allowed their enemies to secure a draw. To be honest, we expected them to lose because the team went for Sniper. Even though this hero is pretty good in some situations, he had to go against Night Stalker, Zeus, and Tiny. However, the CIS team rose from the ashes and played one of their best games in a long time. The last we’d like to include in this overview was between Talon Esports and Thunder Awaken. Many people underestimated this series because there were other intriguing matches. RNGU was clearly the better team in the match's first game, which is why it had no problems in the laning stage. Royal Never Give Up played extremely well and disciplined, which allowed their Medusa to become the strongest hero in the game. For example, Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov got the chance to play his favorite Storm Spirit, a hero that is not that popular in the meta. Both are competitive and fun to watch, but Group A has one extra team because Xtreme Gaming decided not to take part in the Major. The SEA squad tried to turtle as much as possible, but their efforts were futile. Puck and Morphling were too strong for Fnatic’s draft because only Alch had the items to deal with them. After waiting for a couple of weeks since Tour 3 came to an end, it is time to focus on one of the most important tournaments of the year. OG, on the other hand, looks more motivated than ever to win a second major in a row.

Entity experienced a similar situation: their carry Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko was unable to get a visa. While it’s unlikely that there will be more significant issues before the major, the damage is still done. Marc “Raven” Fausto, Jaunuel “Jaunuel” Arcilla and Armel “Armel” Tabios were forced to watch from the sidelines. Theirs turned out to be Anathan “ana” Pham, a formerly retired player with two International wins under his belt. Unfortunately, without this Major to boost their ranking, they won’t be invited to the International. But of all the teams denied visas, Thunder Awaken was certainly hit the worst.
All three players standing in for Fnatic at the PGL Arlington Major will be coming from the same team.
The tournament kicks off with Soniqs and Team Liquid’s group stage clash later today. It is worth noting that DuBu played under the Fnatic banner both as a support and a coach during his lengthy stint in Southeast Asian Dota. TSM failed to qualify for the Arlington Major after finishing 4th in the NA DPC Tour 3.
The PGL Arlington Major kicks off on August 4th. 18 teams from around the world will compete in 2022's second Dota 2 Major. PSG LGD are favored to win.
RNG became the first team to seal their spot at the Arlington Major when they beat Xtreme Gaming 2-0 to propel themselves to the top of the DPC Pro Circuit Tour 1 standings. They finished in the top three at the Stockholm Major, which in itself is a superb result. It merely reiterated how Tundra has been one of the best teams in the Western Europe Dota Pro Circuit since they came into formation in early 2021 when they signed mudgolems. The difference between Stockholm and this major is that more teams – as many as 18 – are set to take part. The playoffs will feature a double-elimination bracket, and matches will be best-of-three. After the thrills and spills at the Riyadh Masters, it’s time to prepare for the PGL Arlington Major, starting August 4.
China's Xtreme Gaming was forced to withdraw from the tournament, while the most renowned teams like two-time TI champs OG, Royal Never Give Up (RNG), and ...
My thanks will always go out to the players for their grit and perseverance.” “So we asked if it is possible to play the event still, because we only needed a few points to qualify for TI and this is the last Major of the season. The players have all been working for this ever since November of last year and they truly just love competing. In fact, they were still involved in giving out their opinion on which tandems we should get. “We’re very thankful that the TSM players DuBu, Bryle, and Timado, agreed almost instantly. “Honestly at this point we’re grateful that we have the chance to earn our points. So we asked Valve and they approved the use of three stand-ins because the rule is just only two. They immediately contacted TSM to see if they could loan players. Though this will be a do-or-die affair for most teams, it’s also become known for its unprecedented raft of stand-ins as major players and teams around the world were affected by visa issues. This led to an alliance between BOOM, Fnatic, and Talon Esports to get those visas stamped. “We went to Sweden [and] we already talked to the rest of the SEA teams, particularly with BOOM. We were trying to find out where we can get visa appointments,” said the Fnatic team director. “We were sharing information with each other.

While the odds are heavily against EG, this match is definitely going to be a great opportunity for them to show that they will try to leave North America’s name in a high place. These points are incredibly valuable because if a team earns enough of them, they can secure a spot in The International, which is the most important event of the year. The next Dota 2 major is kicking off very soon, and the schedule is so packed that it might be a bit intimidating if you are not that familiar with all of the participating teams.

For years, Quincy Crew remained an independent squad competing amongst the powerhouses. No longer, Soniqs made them an offer they can't refuse.
Additionally, the Arlington Major as their first debut is just the ambiguity in strategy they need to catch opponents off-guard. The truth is that the NA region as an esports mill played a role too. Arlington Major is the decisive final major to secure as many DPC points before Valve finalizes direct invites to TI11. Sonqs are one of the two NA representatives to participate in the major. If anything, Quincy Crew’s founding members deserve the credit for staying relevant in the NA scene. They are also playing at Arlington Major, which will sign the spotlight on Soniqs’ debut in Dota 2.
I finally got close to Quincy Crew, a day before Arlington Major. QC, the latest North American team to get signed by a major esports namesake, ...
Sonqs is the second of the NA’s two representatives to participate in the major. Their first debut, the Arlington Major is more or less because strategy is an unambiguity and they need to catch their opponents off-guard. Soniqs is a direct substitute for former NA representative, TeamSoloMid who fell off in DPC State 3 but already became the Stockholm Major finalists and invited to the TI11. The announcement made a day ago for the Arlington Major is just the beginning. Arlington Major is the decisive final major to secure as many points as possible before Valve finalizes direct invites to TI1111. They were often against their rivals of the NA and attended their first TI last year.
The Arlington Major is here and there's a lot to enjoy aside from the matches. Fans can see if they can make the perfect team in DPC Fantasy.
All that needs to be done is to collect cards from the participating teams in the Arlington Major. After that, look at the schedules and matches to come up with the perfect line-ups for each day of the tournament. Of course, it’s not free, but the good news is that Valve announced tickets available for sale starting August 13. For the fans, the tournament isn’t just about watching these teams do battles; some things can be done behind the scenes.
The final Major of the 2022 Dota Pro Circuit season is here, with many teams viewing the Arlington Major as their last chance to qualify for TI11.
They did come back eventually in the weeks that followed, earning the right to play versus Undying (now TSM) for a second place tiebreaker. The community at large has been rooting for South American teams since they were added to the main Dota 2 regions a few years ago, and we don’t think it’ll be any different in Arlington. They exited the tournament in 13th place, prompting JerAx to leave the team just nine days later. It wouldn’t be shocking in the least to see them come out of this group with the best record. With the kind of genius that JerAx in particular brought to the table, many thought that EG would just crush everyone in the NA Regional League yet again. Not only had they proven their sheer skill and understanding of the game this way, but they had also shown the world that their cohesion as a team was second to none. They find themselves with some good momentum going into Arlington, having placed first in the third WEU Division I tour and third at the Stockholm Major just a month and a half prior. Composed of a mishmash of veterans dating back to the mid 2010s and players that have only recently found their stride in the competitive space, there’s plenty to love about Tundra Esports as underdogs. For a team that had yet to form much chemistry with each other at the time, edging out Team Secret for fourth place in the first tour of WEU Division I was quite commendable — and they only followed it up with a third place finish in the regional final thereafter. Despite having so much star power and some of the greatest minds to ever play Dota on their roster, LGD tend to crumble in the clutch. This allowed them to qualify for the ESL One Stockholm Major, where they proceeded to stun the Dota 2 community by taking first place through the lower bracket. Teams will have only two chances to qualify thereafter, with the TI11 Regional Qualifiers and Last Chance Qualifiers likely taking place sometime in September.
Fnatic manages to find the stand-ins they need to join the Arlington Major, and they are from TSM. Dota 2 legends DuBu, Bryle and Timado will be standing in ...
- Fnatic vs. - Fnatic vs. Group A has Stockholm Major winner OG, TI10 runner-up PSG.LGD, and the Russian team Outsiders, also known as Virtus.pro. To secure a direct invite to TI, Fnatic needs to finish at least in eighth place; any placement below that doesn't give out points and cash. Under those conditions, getting players from TSM was a good choice. Indeed, it's good news for fans that Fnatic was able to fill up the roster in time for the tournament.
