Mission: Impossible Director Chris McQuarrie Reveals Meaning ... (Comicbook.com)

Fans are a little less than a year away from the highly-anticipated seventh Mission: Impossible movie, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.

He continued, "And yet, Dead Reckoning didn't really apply as well to Part One as well as it did to Part Two until we started to play with the beginning of the movie, and kind of recognize that Dead Reckoning, while it sounded cool, what did it really have to do with the movie? By the time we got to the end of Part One, that had distilled down into an entirely different set of circumstances that appear in Part Two and not in Part One. So, the word would no longer have been appropriate for the title of Part One." While the first four movies in the franchise all had different directors, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and Mission: Impossible – Fallout director Christopher McQuarrie will be tackling the next two installments.

3 aggressive, near-impossible moves for the Eagles to consider (Inside the Iggles)

A solid roster… A productive training camp that has, so far, gone on without any major injuries (knock on wood)… The Philadelphia Eagles have been quite the ...

Trading either of these guys is aggressive in the sense that moving on from one (or both) means the Birds give up on two former first-round draft choices before their rookie deals reach their end. We’ve seen injuries at the wide receiver position league-wide, and there’s always a market for left tackles. The trade that brought A.J. Brown into the nest set the fan base and media on fire before adding a man with first-round talent in Round 3 of the NFL Draft and the acquisition of James Bradberry pushed excitement to a fever pitch.

I walked her and fed her and then fed myself. I grabbed my bag and walked quickly towards the exit. My room was directly across from the nurses’ station and I wondered how I would be able to slip out without getting caught. The nurse came to take the IV out and said they would have to start another one. At 1 a.m., I was still in the ER. Next thing I knew, the phlebotomist woke me up to draw blood. I began to think about my dog, Shelby. I usually walk her for the first time around 5:30 a.m. and feed her around 6 a.m. She hadn’t been walked since 7 p.m. I texted my neighbor, who is also a dog walker. I was scared, but I was more worried about Shelby than myself. I don’t think she gets up until around 9:30 a.m., and then she has to walk her own dog and then a regular customer of hers. I hadn’t thought to bring a sweatshirt and though the staff was kind enough to bring me several, albeit thin, blankets, I was still shivering. 3 a.m. At 6 a.m., I was still in the ER. I was wearing full-length leggings and a tee-shirt. And the ER was freezing.

Turkey: Difficult to live with, nearly impossible to live without (POLITICO.eu)

One day last month, there stood President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkey, holding hands with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Ebrahimi ...

While Turkey can withdraw from NATO at any time — as France did from its the military structure in 1966 — the Alliance would need a consensus to eject a member. There’s also a strategic reason to keep Turkey in NATO and try to use diplomacy, persuasion and pressure to get Ankara to play ball: In or out, Turkey occupies a strategically vital place for the Alliance, with close links to the Middle East and Caucuses that no other ally possesses or can replicate. For example, upset by Israeli military actions against a Turkish supply ship trying to break the blockade of Gaza, Ankara blocked NATO collaboration with Israel for years. And for countries bordering the Black Sea, the Turkish straits offer the only waterway to the Aegean, the Mediterranean and the oceans beyond. Within NATO Erdoğan has been disruptive too, often using the Alliance’s reliance on consensus to try and get his way — or block agreement. Geographically, the country is located along the south of the Black Sea, representing a bridge between Europe and Asia — with the Middle East to the south, Central Asia to the east, and the Caucuses to the north.
