A magnitude 4.4 earthquake rocked Leyte on Saturday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

Based on the latest bulletins from the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the earthquake Friday was located one kilometer off Bucay’s center, at a depth of 17 kilometers.

The quake struck at 6:49 a.m. and was located 13 kilometers northwest of Merida town in Leyte.
