EiDF Solar acquires 252MW solar project portfolio in Spain (Power Technology)

Spanish energy company EiDF Solar has announced the acquisition of four solar projects, with a combined capacity of 252MWp, in Spain.

[turnover of €180.7m](https://www-eidfsolar-es.translate.goog/resultados-primer-semestre-del-ano/?_x_tr_sl=es&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=sc) ($180.8m) in the first half of the year, exceeding the objectives set in its Business Plan. By the end of next year, the two projects are expected to achieve ready-to-build (RTB) status. Two of the four projects are located in Castilla La Mancha, have a total capacity of 102MWp and are linked to the transmission grid.

Under the terms of the agreement, Teleflex will acquire Standard Bariatrics for an upfront cash payment of $170 million at closing, with additional consideration of up to $130 million payable upon the achievement of certain commercial milestones. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of certain regulatory approvals, and is expected to be completed early in the fourth quarter of 2022.
