Revolutionize internal corporate communications with digital signage (MoreThanDigital)

Digital signage can also be used for internal company communication. You can benefit from easy management as well as more attention.

Content from the group-wide intranet can be shortened to the basic message and displayed on the screens at the same time as it is published. For example, a three-stage editorial concept would be conceivable: The digital signage screens installed in the various company locations display group-wide corporate news, information from the individual business units and news about the individual locations. Digital signage is the use of digital media content for advertising and information purposes. In this way, the reach of other communication tools such as blogs, wikis or the company website can also be further increased and extended. In particular, companies with a large number of employees who are tied to a computer workstation should mainly use the intranet to disseminate corporate news. Digital signage is one of these technologies.

Heterogeneity of Treatment Effect: Communication Intervention (Physician's Weekly)

For a study, researchers sought to investigate treatment impact heterogeneity and identify patient subgroups with severe illnesses who would benefit most from ...

When it came to patients’ depressive symptoms at 6 months (n = 288), the intervention was linked to fewer symptoms in those with poor self-reported health but not in those with fair to outstanding health (P<0.001). Patient income and self-reported health were shown to interact with the intervention in ways that imply these variables may be utilized to better communicate treatment objectives. Patients with higher household incomes had a favorable intervention impact for their overall assessment of clinician communication (n = 251), while patients with lower incomes did not (P<0.001).

Security Training: Moving on from Nick Burns Through Better ... (eSecurity Planet)

Users can't improve if IT and security teams can't communicate better: The state of security awareness training.

“While it is vital to cover the fundamentals and broad things to watch out for, the next step up is to monitor what the employee does in real time.” The user immediately gets an alert specifying how this violated policy along with a 30-second video security tip to explain the risk posed by that behavior. KnowBe4, for example, has offered previews at the Black Hat USA conference of a new product known as I wondered if I might be impacted, so I bought software from Symantec to check it out. A panic went through IT as everyone scrambled to fix the Y2K bug. I asked for more information on where the zip file had come from and how it was triggered. The media went into a frenzy over the possibility that as soon as the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve of 1999, the world would end as all computers would shut down. Bottom line: I learned nothing from the experience. [sandboxing](https://www.esecurityplanet.com/endpoint/sandboxing-advanced-malware-analysis/), observed execution spawning wscript.exe and querying HTTP requests reaching out to the malicious URL d6d99bf2[.]app[.]pgica[.]org and IP 176[.]10[.]124[.]180 to download additional [malware](https://www.esecurityplanet.com/threats/malware-types/) and deletes itself after installation. I finally managed to get this “enlightening” explanation: SocGholish establishes an initial foothold onto victim networks that threat actors use for further targeting with additional malware or even [ransomware](https://www.esecurityplanet.com/threats/ransomware-protection/). An alert came in one morning about a security alert generated by my device.
