The Commissioner’s Cup opens on September 21, but San Miguel is expected to begin its campaign late due after advancing in the ongoing Philippine Cup Finals against TNT. Team manager Gee Abanilla told the Inquirer that Robinson is scheduled to arrive in the second week of September due to the death of his father. The Beermen confirmed on Friday that Robinson has agreed to reinforce the team for the midseason tournament which returns after a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
