Yoga Flow for America in Retrograde (The New Yorker)

Half Sun Salutation: Rise halfway up and touch your shins before bending back down into inaction, like the Senate.

At the end of your practice, return to your intention. Come forward to lie on your stomach, before arching your back and bringing your hands out in front of you to form the shape of that magnificent monument in Egypt. It’s a word or phrase to hold in your heart and orient your flow. Maybe you chose something like “freedom,” “liberty,” or “the pursuit of capitalism.” Did we not set an intention at the start of this flow? This height, the height of your squat, is where you should set your expectations going forward, to keep from being disappointed. If you can bring the soles of your feet flat on the ground to get even lower, that would be wise. Hold here and consider the empires of eras past. Get low to the ground and be still. To warm up, please come to stand at the top of your mat. Start with your feet together and then, with your right leg, take a huge step backward, like a Supreme Court Justice. Rise halfway up and touch your shins before bending back down into inaction, like the Senate. An opening chant is optional, if it’s a part of your practice.

Six Planets Are Retrograde Including That Cold Bitch Mercury Which Is Why Everything Sucks RN · Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn · Saturn Retrograde in Aquarius.

It may even be worth seeing your therapist to get it all out and focus on tools to help you press on. Go inside yourself and start thinking about what is and isn’t working in your life and focus on ways to remedy this. How to deal: Mercury Retrograde is about miscommunications and shit going awry, so expect all kinds of tea to be spilled. Be extra careful with who you tell your secrets to because a person you thought was a trustworthy confidant might be two-faced. What it means: Big boi Jupiter is the planet of growth and abundance so right now as it’s on the fritz, you’ll feel like you’re going backwards rather than forwards. Write down your goals for the future and start manifesting them. How to deal: Luckily it’s Virgo Season so tap into its energy and get organised to help with things you may be forgetting. So now that it’s taking a big ol’ snooze, our decision-making skills are a lil off and we’re saying “yes” to shit we really should be saying “fuck no!” to. Not only that, but you’ll find yourself daydreaming IRL, meaning actually disassociating throughout the day and dropping the ball in your waking life. You see, Pluto is the planet that rules transformation and so when it goes retrograde, expect heavy changes. Are there aspects of your life or perhaps yourself that you’ve been wanting to change for good? What it means: I know what you’re thinking, Pluto isn’t even considered a planet to some people.

6 Planets Are Currently In Retrograde, & Another Is On Its Way (Her Campus)

Six planets are currently in retrograde: Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, and Mercury. Astrologer Valerie Mesa and manifestation expert @e.mo.tions ...

Mars is ruled by our desires, passions, and motivations, as Mesa referred to it “like the gas we put in our car.” The latest Mercury retrograde is the ruler of the upcoming Mars retrograde, so it’s safe to assume things are about to get a little hectic. It feels like everything is moving backwards instead of forwards, and we tend to harp on past relationships, unsolved issues, and just the past in general. This is a common theme that you’ll recognize during the Libra phase of the retrograde, but with a shift to Virgo, we’ll swiftly turn our reflections inwards. It’s important to not get too greedy, and to be grateful for what you have in front of you while Patience is key in this retrograde, and understanding that we can’t control everything is something we have to come to terms with (even if I really don’t want to). The thought of Uranus’ power scares me, but while in retrograde, it allows us to get everything back in place. It’s important to plan ahead for the future instead of focusing on what you don’t have in the physical present. and a seventh is about to be heading into retrograde at the end of October. In this retrograde spanning from June 28 to Dec. For those of us that have deep-seated control issues (yes, my fellow Leos, I’m talking about us), this retrograde in Pluto may be difficult for you to deal with. A retrograde is a period of time where a planet doesn’t operate like it usually would, attributing to why things may feel a little off during a cycle. However, the two retrogrades you’ll want to pay the most attention to are Mercury and the upcoming Mars retrograde.

Retrograde CTO-PCI Using an Internal Thoracic Bypass Graft ... (Dove Medical Press)

As PCI of bypass grafts may be associated with higher risks and lower procedural success rates, in patients with a history of previous coronary artery surgery, ...

The approach of using antegrade wiring of the bypass graft segment to enter the RCA and then performing a retrograde RCA CTO intervention has not been previously described in the setting of an acute infarction. The second stent was placed on the mid part of the RCA by overlapping with the first one and the third one on the proximal part of the RCA. [Figure 2](#f0002)) and an occluded proximal LAD after the origin of the first diagonal branch. Despite initiation of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), the patient remained in refractory shock and acute revascularization of the right coronary artery was performed through the RITA bypass segment using antegrade access to the graft through the LCx and then a retrograde approach to open a CTO of the RCA. [2](#cit0002), [3](#cit0003) However, catheter-based revascularization may be difficult to perform in the setting of a chronically totally occluded vessel (CTO) and a culprit lesion in a coronary artery bypass graft (CABG). Concerns were raised that antegrade interventions through the RITA graft could result in distal thrombus embolization and acute revascularization was attempted using an antegrade approach from the native LCx into the RITA graft segment to the PDA and then a retrograde approach through the native RCA CTO. It was felt that shock was caused by the acute thrombotic occlusion of a right internal thoracic artery (RITA) bypass graft that had been sequentially anastomosed to the left circumflex (LCx) and right coronary arteries. The patient was diagnosed with an acute thrombotic occlusion of the RITA graft at its ostium and a patent LITA to the LAD artery. Case Presentation: A patient with a history of multivessel coronary artery disease and a chronic total occlusion (CTO) of the right coronary artery (RCA) requiring arterial bypass surgery, presented with an acute inferior STEMI and cardiogenic shock. A 62-year-old male with a history of 3 vessel coronary disease and prior coronary artery surgery was admitted with an inferior STEMI and cardiogenic shock, 6 hours after the onset of symptoms. Background: Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) of the “culprit” artery is the recommended mechanical reperfusion strategy in the setting of ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).

Favorable Patency, Durability of New Thoracic Endocraft to Repair ... (The Cardiology Advisor)

Single-branched thoracic endograft for thoracic endovascular aortic repair of arch aneurysms shows low rates of graft-associated complications.

Further, 2 patients in the zone 0/1 arm died during the follow-up period, with both of the deaths unrelated to the aneurysm or the procedure. [Mid-term outcomes of endovascular repair of aortic arch aneurysms with the Gore Thoracic Branch Endoprosthesis](https://www.ejves.com/article/S1078-5884(22)00506-8/pdf). A total of 40 participants were enrolled in the study, which included 31 individuals who were treated in the zone 2 arm and 9 patients who were treated in the zone 0/1 arm. Results of the study showed that no device migration, fracture, or aortic rupture occurred in either arm during the 3-year follow-up. The mean follow-up was 1408±552 days in the zone 2 cohort and 1187±766 days in the zone 0/1 cohort. The first study arm enrolled individuals with an intact descending thoracic aortic aneurysm that extended to the distal arch with left subclavian artery incorporation (zone 2).
