Written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the Chainsaw Man manga series is getting an anime adaptation from MAPPA, and it's coming to Crunchyroll on.

Alissa Bachner is co-executive producing, and Bichir serves as a producer on the series. Inspired by the original hit Swedish novel and film, the series centers on Mark (Bichir) and his daughter Eleanor (Baez), whose lives were changed 10 years earlier when she was turned into a vampire. The anime will premiere on October 11th, 2022, and will follow a weekly release schedule on Crunchyroll, so you'll get Chainsaw Man content for around three months (If there are no unscheduled breaks). Denji AKA Chainsaw Man has a lot of feats he'll accomplish over the course of the story. So, while waiting for the anime, let's look at his best ones.

So, the sheer fact that Denji comes back, fights Santa Claus, and manages to beat her is incredible. But, Denji notices it's afraid of his chainsaws, so he decides to hop right into its open "mouth" and start cutting it up. After these events, Makima takes both Denji and Power to Captain Kishibe, the Captain of Special Division 1 and the strongest "pure human" character in the series. A lot of things happen in this chaotic arc involving Zombies, the Ghost Devil, the Snake Devil, and more. Denji, the main protagonist of Chainsaw Man (and the person who literally becomes Chainsaw Man), is one heck of a character. Makima reveals her true self as the Control Devil to Denji, kills him, brings out the Chainsaw Devil, and a whole war goes down. Frankly, it's some real "spartan-style" training that involves a ton of pain, death, and critical thinking, the last of which Denji is especially bad at. Remember, Denji's deadbeat dad died and left his absurd amount of debt to Denji to take care of.

One version will feature Denji in his Chainsaw Man form while the other will feature Power. Hopefully that continues to be the case, as if Chainsaw Man has shown it can nail one thing, it's a funny, romantic build-up to a devastating conclusion. Makima continually points out Chainsaw Man's negatives, which aggravates Denji to the point where he reveals he is in fact Chainsaw Man, causing her to leave in a disbelieving huff. Of course, fans liked it not just because of how gaga Denji went over her (although that was a major appeal for many), but for how the romantic comedy that defined their early interactions in the manga served as a perfect foundation for the tragedy that came later.

After being possessed by the Gun Devil, he was given an oversized M1911 pistol for his face and an M16A1 rifle for his left forearm. Not only is Aki tied to the Gun Devil because of his past childhood trauma and his journey towards revenge, but the hidden meaning behind his name references his eventual transformation near the end of Makima's arc.
