Crunchyroll has confirmed that the movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be available on the streaming service starting Wednesday, September 21.
It is easily worth a look for fans of the manga series and the anime’s first season to get a fuller view of the world and the supporting characters, who get a little more screen time here. Plus, they get to showcase more aspects of their abilities and a different dynamic while teaming up with Yuta. JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 was a great story and expansion into the world of jujutsu sorcery from Akutami’s manga. The hit movie was produced by Studio MAPPA and directed by Sunghoo Park with a runtime of 105 minutes. However, Yuta soon becomes the target of a powerful curse wielder, Suguru Geto, who seeks to possess Yuta’s power for himself in his quest to wipe out all non-sorcerers on the planet. However, Rika became a curse after she died, and the spirit seeks to remain close to Yuta and protect him.

Since it was actually made before the main series, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is an excellent entry point for newcomers. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is unique in terms of its status as a prequel. Instead of watching multiple episodes, you can experience a complete story with the same tone as the series in less than two hours. Even if that’s not your thing, the stunning battle sequences are sure to catch your eye. There are different attributes to some of the performances across languages, but as someone who’s seen both versions more than once, I’m happy to report that you can’t go wrong either way. It’s a canon story to the universe but takes place before the majority of the anime’s main group is introduced.

I have seen the rise of new ones such as Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, and of course, what we're going to be talking about today, Jujutsu Kaisen. But while ...
I felt the emotion in both versions, and they were both able to express the feelings of all the characters in the best way possible. When helping Yuta try to harness the power of Rika into the katana and to find a way to free her of her curse, you can see that he really does care about the kid and wants her to succeed, which is something I feel like we don’t get to see a lot of in the show, besides him being a badass. When I say “introduced,” I more or less mean that it feels we are given so much more story on these characters than before, as if we are properly introduced to them instead of having a few flashbacks and appearances in the anime before. It felt as if I was back in the theaters watching it for the first time on the big screen and seeing all the intensity all over again, because the animation was beautifully done and created some visually stunning sequences that I didn’t normally get in the TV show. Big nerd and lover of Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire. Fans of the show have to see this prequel. However, in the prequel, I actually started to find myself caring for Gojo more because we got to see his heart in a way I hadn’t seen in the anime. I have always personally preferred dubbed just so I can fully focus on the animation and all the cool stuff happening, but I understand why Something I really like about Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is that it dives deep into the characters that we already know from the series. To be honest, I feel like it’s one of the best anime films based on a show, as well, but those are for other reasons we can't talk about here. The only saving grace he had was that it seemed he cared for Yuji Itadori, but at the same time, even some of those moments didn't feel super likeable. While I’m relatively new to the genre (I wasn’t watching it from childhood like some people), I’ve been consistently viewing it for the last ten years – maybe even beyond if you count all [the Pokemon shows](https://www.cinemablend.com/television/2566000/every-pokemon-anime-series-ranked).

These scenes come together with the aid of the unpredictable, difficult-to-parse Geto, who shares a history with Gojo, and the former emerges as an antagonist with infinite layers. Perhaps the core appeal of the film is its action-heavy fight sequences that are spectacular in scope and execution, wherein weapons throbbing with Cursed energy are used to slash through blobby, eldritch creatures, both gigantic and small. They understand their duties as budding jujutsu sorcerers and the ever-present reality of having to put their lives on the line is neither celebrated as heroic nor sugar-coated as a selfless act of sacrifice. Character and plot-driven mysteries are created and unfurled in the same breath, and the mechanics of the world are effortlessly translated onto the big screen. The overwhelming success of the "Naruto" franchise over the years and the recent, record-breaking "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is testimony to this sentiment. With the help of jujutsu sorcerers Maki, Panda, and Inumaki (who franchise fans already know and love), Yuta learns to imbue Rika's curse into weapons to fight nefarious Cursed Spirits during high-stakes missions.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 was based on the initial offering created by Gege Akutami in "Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School", which came out prior to Jujutsu Kaisen hitting the scene in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump. With season two arriving next year as MAPPA works on the anime adaptation, it's a good time to be a Jujutsu Kaisen fan.
The director decided to zero in on the many characters that feature in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, both new and familiar.
For instance, the other students at Jujutsu High are allowed to shine in relation to their bond with Yuta, and adult characters like Geto and Gojo untangle their motivations as the film progresses. [Crunchyroll](https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-feature/2022/03/25/interview-jujutsu-kaisen-0-director-sunghoo-park-on-creating-cinematic-sorcery), Park explained that the best thing he learned from the reactions of "Jujutsu Kaisen" fans was that there was massive interest in a wide range of characters. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 introduces a new protagonist against a sinister and veteran antagonist named Suguru Geto, who is joined by other new villains.
He is incredibly powerful and possesses a very high amount of cursed energy. Miguel’s cursed tool is the Black Rope, which is often compared to a special grade tool. During one of his bouts against Gojo, he managed to harden his body and take the hits. Nanako cares for Geto and is fiercely loyal to the villain. After the untimely death of Rika Orimoto, Okkotsu is haunted by her cursed spirit. Just like the original series, the film has some badass villains as well, so in this article, we came up with a list of the villains in Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
