On his podcast, "The Point Forward," Andre Iguodala has announced that he will re-sign with the Golden State Warriors.

This past season, the 2015 NBA Finals MVP returned to the team, and they made the NBA Finals and won the NBA Championship over the Boston Celtics. In 2020 and 2021 (without Iguodala) they missed the NBA Playoffs. From 2015-19, they made the NBA Finals five times in a row and won three titles.

The 2015 Finals MVP returned to the Warriors in 2021, and Iguodala won his fourth NBA championship despite limited minutes due to various health issues throughout the season, but did appear in seven playoff games. Joining the Warriors in the 2013-24 season, Iguodala won three championships and made the NBA Finals five times before joining the Miami Heat and reaching his sixth straight Finals in 2020. Iguodala played in just 31 games last season, averaging 19.5 minutes and four points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists in that time.
