Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 5) — American R&B superstar Ne-Yo announced he will be in Manila for a one-night concert next year.

Three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning R&B superstar and iconic songwriter NE-YO is coming to Manila for his 'Live in Concert' tour on Jan.

He has proven to be as powerful with his pen as he is in the recording studio and on stage, penning bangers like Rihanna’s “Unfaithful,” “Russian Roulette,” and “Take a Bow,” along with Beyoncé’s 2006 breakup anthem “Irreplaceable” and songs for such artists as Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Carrie Underwood, & Celine Dion among others. Since then, he has racked up a collection of hit singles – including “Sexy Love,” “Closer,” “Because of You,” “Miss Independent” and “Push Back” featuring Bebe Rexha and Stefflon Don. For Gray, doing the lava walk while Ne-Yo performed her “forever soundtrack” was one of her “ Ne-Yo is set to hold his “greatest hits” concert in the Philippines on Jan. Tickets for the event will go on sale starting Oct. 23, 2023, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. It can be recalled that Ne-Yo performed “Miss Independent” during the Miss Universe 2018 coronation night where Gray did the lava walk and was hailed the titleholder for that year.
