After an ugly loss in OT last night, how will the Mavs respond?
Stop jumping in that bouncy house for a minute and let me offer you the chance at betting the under against the #1 scoring team in the NBA. While their record is only sitting at 1-5, Orlando might have one of the most exciting young teams in the league. Green led the Mavs in plus-minus stats last night with an impressive +24 in only 15 minutes played. Now on the 2nd night of a back-to-back after letting a 15-point lead in the 4th quarter slip away, they look to rebound against a young Orlando team. Bol Bol has recorded at least 1 block in every game he has played in this year. I am staying away from this game line as the Mavs have shown us one too many times that they are allergic to double-digit leads, so if I had to lean on a team I would most likely take Orlando with the +9.5.

The Dallas Mavericks fell to 2-3 after an embarrassing fourth-quarter meltdown against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night.
Instead, they got embarrassed on their home floor as the young Thunder stole the win in overtime. Although Kidd’s statement was valid, the Mavs had a number of things go wrong in the loss to OKC. How Wood responds to Kidd’s latest call-out will be his next big test. It's not like the intent is bad, we just gotta do better because we’ve dropped several leads now.” We left C-Wood out there with that group and it didn’t go well on either end, and that’s something we got to be better at. “I think when you look at being able to guard the ball, we can’t just rely on Luka (Doncic),” said Kidd. It will be interesting to see how Dallas handles Orlando’s massive starting five with Banchero leading the charge. We just didn’t finish.” According to coach Jason Kidd, that depends on if his team feels like stepping up in crunch time or not. “So we got to figure out which ones are working. The potential Rookie of the Year in Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic take on a potential MVP candidate in Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks.
He should be able to get much better looks in this matchup. He’s averaging nearly 24 points per game, which is great even in a smaller sample size for a rookie coming right out of the gate. Point being, if he can ever so slightly improve his efficiency he should be able to easily cover. This matchup should easily go to the Mavericks, but because of the way their season has gone, that’s not a lock. The Mavericks, though, are coming off a loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder after an incredible collapse. The Magic, on the other hand, recently picked up their first win on the season.
