The NU Pep Squad was crowned the UAAP Season 85 Cheerdance Competition champion on Saturday, regaining the glory it missed last season.

UP Pep Squad last won a title in 2012 while the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe last hoisted the crown back in 2006. NU garnered a total of 723 points while defending champion FEU and UST copped 719 and 640 points, respectively, to make it to the podium. The UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe, meanwhile, is back on the podium for the first time since 2018 adter being hailed the second runner-up.
