Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Sets Double-Length Part 1 Finale (CBR)

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War gives anime fans a belated holiday gift in the form of a double-length Part 1 finale, which arrives on December 26.

Bleach fans can go to Hulu to stream the finale of Thousand-Year Blood War on Dec. In Thousand-Year Blood War, Ichigo is faced with an entirely new type of challenge as the series revolves around the conflict between the Shinigami, who operate as an organization called the "Soul Society," and an opposing group called "The Wandenreich." [Thousand-Year Blood War](https://www.cbr.com/bleach-thousand-year-blood-war-ryunosuke-new-character-relatable-underdog/) is the long-awaited continuation of Pierrot's original Bleach anime, which aired from October 2004 and ended in March 2012. Consequently, just a few of the established prominent voice actors contributed to the series' production this time around. Tite Kubo's Bleach manga is available in English from VIZ Media. Masakazu Morita, Fumiko Orikasa, and Akio Ohtsuka were also able to reprise their roles from the original series as Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, and Shunsui Kyoraku, respectively.

The end of the episode (after the credits) had the tell-tale sounds of a clock tolling over and over. It had to have been agonizing to realize your strongest contribution to the title of strongest was to nurture its true holder. If you havenโ€™t watched that part of the episode, be sure to go back and finish before reading any further from this point. Even then, what we got was fantastic and the brief focus on Renji and Ichigo following that was good too. This is the final season, the only season being produced. In my opinion, 52 episodes is not enough to tell this particular story, but adding another 13 episodes to make it 65 might be too many. In my opinion, that's a better place (and perhaps the only logical place) to stop the first "part" of Bleach's TYBW Arc. These air on television, so scheduling that might be a nightmare, but we're in the age of streaming services now. I know that not everyone is a fan of cours but I'll enjoy watching all the episodes again and hopefully they'll finish dubbing the rest of the episodes. [Back to top](#top)
