New Year greetings

2022 - 12 - 31

ROUGH CUTS | Our New Year's greetings - Mindanao Times (Mindanao Times)

THIS column is our last for the year 2022. We are devoting a good part of this column in greeting our met and still to be met friends especially those who.

First we are extending our New Year’s greetings to our former colleagues at the Commission on Population (POPCOM) Regional Office XI where we used to work for a number of years. We hope that all of you will not tire of following our every column even if you disagree with our views. And we believe him because there were several instances that he gave constructive reactions and even gave us ideas on what to write based on his own experiences with the NYPD and on his observations on what is happening in Philippine society and governance. For fear that we might be missing some names because of their number, we would rather greet then a Happy and Prosperous 2023 in lump or group. In the case of General Dubria, we knew him during his stint as Director of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) where he implemented a program that to us was very effective in restoring the trust of the people in their policemen. The Police General and Marlu had been friends to us for some time already although we still never had the chance to meet personally.

President Erdoğan extends New Year greetings (Hurriyet Daily News)

I wish every member of our nation as well as the whole humanity a year full of peace, serenity, health and welfare in 2023,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip ...

Our goal is to make this beginning in the best and most effective manner and thus to leave our youth a country in which they can successfully realize the Century of Türkiye in conformity with our targets, dreams, civilization and historical legacy. We see the democracy and development infrastructure we have introduced in our country over the past 20 years as the foundation, beginning and basmala of this great initiative. Our goal is no longer to rank in the top tier of the global political and economic league. Bidding farewell to 2022 with these feelings, I wish every member of our nation as well as the whole humanity a year full of peace, serenity, health and welfare in 2023. We will inshallah launch a much greater initiative in 2023 with our Century of Türkiye vision befitting the new century of our Republic. Our goal is rather to obtain the political and economic strength that will put us among the very top of the top tier. We have been working day and night to fulfil this promise of ours since the 2011 elections when we submitted for our nation’s approval our 2023 goals, one of the most ambitious democracy and development visions of our country. However, Türkiye’s economic model, which makes no concessions in employment and production, has been the main feature which has distinguished Türkiye in this period from the rest of the world, including developed countries. From the coup attempt on July 15, 2016 to the international sabotage targeting our economy in 2018... 'We are ending a season in tourism when we have not only made up for our losses but also have reached the highest level of revenues. So much so that, we had to make do with messages of congratulations even at the centenary of the inauguration of the Grand National Assembly. We were actually hoping to have enthusiastic commemorations at every anniversary during the four-year period in the lead-up to the centenary of the proclamation of the Republic.
