Take the value with the Bulls now, because if DeRozan does get the green light, this line is going to flip in Chicago’s favor. Even without DeRozan for nearly half of Monday’s game, they still gave the league’s top team a run for their money. The current point spread suggests DeRozan likely won’t play. He led Chicago with 27 points in Monday’s 107-99 loss to Boston, a game that was much closer than the final score suggests. [Barstool Sportsbook promo code ](https://www.sportsbettingdime.com/sportsbooks/barstool-sportsbook/bonuses/)to bet on the Bulls vs Wizards game. LaVine is averaging 29 points per outing during his past four games, putting up big numbers against stiff competition. If he can’t go, expect the majority of the offensive burden to be shouldered by Zach LaVine, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing for Chicago backers. The Wizards were already having a tough time scoring, ranking 21st in net rating, and that will only get harder if Porzingis also misses. To make matters worse, Kristaps Porzingis, the team’s second leading scorer and top rebounder is questionable with sore ribs. Beal hasn’t played since last Tuesday due to a low-grade left hamstring strain, and is scheduled to miss at least Washington’s next three games. [BARSTOOL SPORTSBOOK](https://www.sportsbettingdime.com/go/barstool-sb/) As we’ll explore, three of the biggest names on either side are either out or seriously questionable.
The Bulls had a string of good play lately that got them up to 9th in the Eastern Conference playoff seedings, though that streak and winning streak against ...
I certainly hope AKME wasn’t buying in to the last couple weeks, and actually second their over-need for ‘evaluation time’ to see if the Bulls can win a bunch of games they should if they want to be taken seriously by the front office (and ownership) as something worth augmenting. After the day of rest, today saw [DeRozan not participating in shootaround](https://twitter.com/DarnellMayberry/status/1613210390627864579) and a downgraded status for tonight’s game. The press release said a re-evaluation was in two weeks, and 13 of them before the trade deadline, with a majority in which they should be favored. That was a good game in the micro: they stayed close while the Celtics couldn’t hit shots, and a 4th quarter LaVine scoring outburst got them to within a possession late. DeRozan hasn’t missed a game this season and quad strain isn’t being classified as long-term issue as of now.— K.C.

KLUTCH KUZMA!!! Kyle Kuzma sealed the win for the Washington Wizards with his only made three-pointer with 5.7 seconds remaining in the game.
As for the Bulls Zach LaVine had a game-high 38 points as he tried to carry his team in the second half, but Kuzma ended all that noise sending the Bulls home. He was definitely someone that was needed to assist LaVine in the second half. Monte Morris was heavily the reason scoring 15 points in the third quarter after only having two points in the first half. Gill brought the intensity as well scoring a career-high with 18 points off the bench. Coming into the second half, Washington brought a different attitude all together as a team outscoring Chicago 41-21 in the third quarter. The late game execution was terrible without DeRozan, no way around that, but overall this was another example of the Bulls glaring issues. But after looking great in the first half, the offense crumbled in the second half with just 38 points after halftime. But no foul was called and he ended up missing a mid-range jumper as the game ended in baffling fashion for the Bulls. With it looking like he had runway to take more shots with DeRozan out, instead Patrick Williams had just six points on a mere eight attempts. With the game on the line and no DeMar DeRozan, the ball went into the hands of Zach LaVine who looked like he was anticipating a foul and drove inside the three-point line. But that quarter turned into a disaster, as the Wizards outscored Chicago 41-21 in the quarter.

LaVine added that Wright said, “I got you,” after the game and an official told him they missed the call. “They didn’t call it,” LaVine said. If you’re a competitor, everyone dreams of that moment.” "I caught the ball, I looked left, a lot of teams are forcing me left. I knew I had (Alex) Caruso on me and he’s one of the better defenders in the league. “I was trying to give myself the best chance to make a play,” Kuzma said.
