K-pop group Momoland has left MLD Entertainment after their exclusive contract expired, South Korean media platform Naver announced on Friday.

MOMOLAND returned to the Philippines in November for a show at a "friendship day" for Filipino K-pop fans. MLD Entertainment urged fans to continue supporting the six MOMOLAND members who are set to embark on a new journey. “After a lengthy discussion with MOMOLAND (Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy), we respected each other’s opinions and agreed to terminate the exclusive contract upon expiration of the contract period,” the MLD Entertainment statement said.

Momoland is a K-pop girl group formed by MLD Entertainment through the reality survival program “Finding Momoland.” The show was broadcast on Mnet from July 22 to September 16, 2016. The group was the product of the first season of the reality survival program “Produce 101.” The show was created by CJ E&M and aired on Mnet from January 22 to April 1, 2016.
