An image of the distinctive jumper is included below. He demanded cash however the attendant refused and the man ran off. When that failed, he approached the attendant at the night window armed with what appeared to be a firearm.

Police are responding to a shooting incident that occurred at the Mallplaza Egana in Santiago Jan. Additional police have deployed to the mall. The shooting reportedly took place during an attempted robbery of a technology store within the complex, with the suspects exchanging fire with a police officer who tried to stop the robbery.

Parkersburg Police Chief Matt Board says his department got a call about the incident at 5:09 p.m., and officers had the suspect detained at 5:16 p.m..

Board believes the suspect went into Michael’s and demanded money from an employee. Board says officers will question the suspect, and there is no threat to the community related to this crime. Board says Michael’s employees were able to call 911 and give a good description of the vehicle the suspect left in.

The transfer will be discussed by the Philippines and Japan on Tuesday at the earliest, according to a Japanese government official. The Japanese police have sought the transfer of Yuki Watanabe, alias "Luffy," the suspected mastermind of the robberies, and three other men after obtaining arrest warrants on suspicion of theft in connection with a scam targeting elderly people in Japan. According to Remulla, many of those detained are seeking to escape deportation by having cases filed against them.

Detectives are asking for the community's help in identifying a man who robbed a Family Dollar on Saturday night.

Police say officers responded to the Family Dollar located at the 900 block of South Arlington Street around 8:30 p.m. The suspect was last seen getting into a dark-colored vehicle that was headed northbound out of the parking lot after the robbery, police say. Police say the suspect flashed a handgun and threatened the manager before leaving the store.

An armed robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash after holding up a convenience store in southern Stafford County on Sunday night, police said.

The suspect displayed a handgun before taking the cash. According to the Stafford Sheriff’s Office, the robbery took place shortly before 8:30 p.m. He was wearing tight gray pants, a black T-shirt under a button up plaid shirt, a blue mask and a gray and black hat with an “M” on the front.
