The LTO aims to fully utilize its online system called the Land Transport Management System by August 2023, replacing its older systems.
Tugade said the LTO has already issued a memorandum circular instructing the exclusive use of the LTMS for the renewal of the MVIRS to prevent the overlapping of systems. According to Tugade, the utilization includes its Driverโs Licensing System (DLS), the renewal processing of Motor Vehicle Inspection & Registration System (MVIRS), the Law Enforcement & Traffic Adjudication System (LETAS), Revenue Collection System (RCS), Portal (front-facing application used by the general public), Online Application & Appointment System (OAAS), and Executive Information System (EIS).
