Rondae Hollis-Jefferson

Having made an instant impact on his PBA debut, NBA veteran Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is ready to start afresh with TNT Tropang Giga.

"Being able to come here and compete and have the trust in the guys, it's big. Not that he needs to score a ton in the PBA anyway. After a failed 2022-23 Commissioner's Cup campaign where TNT failed to make the playoffs, there is an urgency on the franchise's part to put together a more convincing run in the season-ending conference. Although he didn't see much action in the KBL, Hollis-Jefferson still managed to score over a point per possession on all three play types this season, per InStat, and TNT ranks alongside some of the top teams on those plays in terms of usage or sheer PPP. He's not much of a creator from the perimeter, often relying on getting to the rim and floater range for his own offense. "What I tend to do when situations don't work out is I put out in the world what some people may not, and that's love. I think it makes it easier that they brought me in to be able to facilitate, pass the ball so they can get easier shots." He knows how to pass," he added. "That's something that I try to focus on. "And that's just the way life happens sometimes. And that's just the way it is. Throughout the season, he was largely buried in a rotation that featured Korea naturalized player Ra Guna and local stars Heo Ung and Lee Seonghyun.
