He had 39 points last time out and seems to have a definitive sense of urgency to get the Thunder into the postseason. Doing so at DraftKings gives the bettor +900 as of writing this. As for Booker (28.1 PPG; 32.8 PPG with Durant), I don’t hate the look, especially if combined with the assists, but that’s the better angle for me. He had 40 last time out against the Suns, and this game as a whole has taken To refresh: Again, with an extra mouth to feed, and with it being one of most efficient mouths out there (this analogy is crumbling), naturally Booker’s playmaking is going to increase. In the case of Okogie (7.3 PPG; 12.4 PPG with Durant), it’s a trend picked out by the books, as they hang 10.5 points for these Durant games. Five games remain in the season for the Suns while the Thunder have four. The next thing that pops — and makes sense when we zoom out to the bigger reasoning behind it — is an increase in Booker’s assists. The most notable is DeAndre Ayton’s points.

The Suns visit the Thunder on Sunday night as we continue our NBA odds series with a Suns-Thunder prediction, pick, and how to watch.
I expect Oklahoma City to really give it their all to the last and final buzzer in this matchup, but the way Phoenix is jelling at the right time has it hard to go against them. They are 38-40 and currently clinging to the No. The Thunder aren’t in the form they truly need to be in coming down to the wire leading into the playoffs. While being in a slump as they currently are, they are still one of the better teams covering the spread, especially at home. [Phoenix Suns](/nba/phoenix-suns) (42-35) head out on the road to take on the [Oklahoma City Thunder](/nba/oklahoma-city-thunder) (38-40), who are battling to make the play-in tournament. The Suns have still not lost with Durant in the lineup, though it has still only been five games because of his injury.
The triples from Chris Paul and Kevin Durant were the daggers in Phoenix's 128-118 win in Oklahoma City on Sunday night.

We go over some of the best betting options for Sunday's matchup between the Phoenix Suns and Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Thunder have gone under on their totals in four of the last five games, so this pick is a bit against the trends. Phoenix is -225 on the moneyline while Oklahoma City is +190. The Suns have gone under their totals in the last three games but had a string of five overs before that. The Suns are on a four-game winning streak and should be able to make it five, but the Thunder will keep things close in this one. The Suns won the first two games but Oklahoma City took the last contest a few weeks ago. [Phoenix Suns](https://www.brightsideofthesun.com) (42-35) and [Oklahoma City Thunder](https://www.welcometoloudcity.com) (38-40) will wrap up their series Sunday in the fourth and final matchup of the season.
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant was impressive in his third game back from a left ankle sprain, recording 35 points in a win.
With the long Shai Gilgeous-Alexander going toward the rim in transition, Durant recovered back in enough time somehow to get in position for a chase-down swat. With 1:41 left and the Suns up seven, Devin Booker committed a careless turnover that could have got Oklahoma City right back in the game. Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant was impressive in his third game back from a left ankle sprain, recording 35 points, five rebounds, five assists and two blocks in a 128-118 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The team ran away with 60 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those in the second to pick up the win. This Sunday, the Oklahoma City Thunder are hoping to patch up the holes in a defense that has allowed an average of 116.44 points per contest.

All season long SGA has been a scoring machine in the third quarter and was once again on Sunday, racking up 17 of his 39 total points in the frame. Wiggins was bottled up on the baseline, looking for an outlet and offensively Gilgeous-Alexander has been one of the most effective and efficient options in the entire league all season. Every team needs a sparkplug off the bench and for the Thunder one of its most reliable players has been Wiggins. Despite the Suns scoring 42 points in the second quarter on some very hot shooting, the Thunder used a trio of hustle plays to stay within striking distance in this one. It was Lindy Waters III, however, who was the most efficient with his hustle play - in just one minute of first half action, Waters smartly double-teamed Durant on a spin move at the right elbow, ambushing the Suns wing and ripping the ball right out of his hands. Attacking off a broken floor situation, Giddey caught a pass from Dort and went baseline to float a push shot over the top of the block attempt by Phoenix center DeAndre Ayton. Recognizing that Aaron Wiggins was wide open on the wing, Dort slipped the ball back out and it resulted in a catch-and-shoot 3. The crowd inside Paycom Center was rocking and in the second to last home game of the regular season, the Thunder was leaving it all out there on the court. Throughout the first quarter the Thunder doubled Booker and forced him to give up the ball early in possessions, holding him to just six points in 12 first quarter minutes. Against a team that is as efficient as Phoenix, the Thunder had to rack up as many extra possessions as it could in this one and Lu Dort was a major catalyst to that effort. As the teams went back and forth, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander made a steal on the weak side and it led to a Lu Dort run out and a putback bucket by Jalen Williams. As the Thunder has done all season, the response by OKC out of halftime was determined.
