“If you’re a family on the edge anyway, even $50 or $60 for a duvet is too much. “It’s extremely popular and much-needed. these few cold mornings have been a shock to the system,” she said. “We don’t get many duvets and blankets any more. * “We help families who have a genuine need, it’s just the last few times we’ve wanted to give them blankets and duvets to get them ready for winter, we haven’t had any to give them,” she said.
