The Ebike Cafe and the co-founders of Camber Cycle Works have joined forces to provide better service and repair options for cyclists in Weymouth.

“When our longstanding mechanic, Mike, retired towards the end of last year, we began collaborating with Simon and Will at Camber Cycle Works. Simon Spreyer, managing director of Camber Cycle Works, added: “Will and I were already collaborating more and more with Peter and Josephine at The Ebike Cafe, and we were looking at an additional space in town. It has gone so well that we have decided to expand our business to cover the service and repair of all kinds of bicycles.”

It is now possible to display current cadence and performance data as well as elevation differences on the Ride screen of the Flow app. To use the Flow app, iOS 15 or Android 8.0 are required. This function requires the ConnectModule to be installed on the e-bike. For example, in case of theft, a notification appears on the lock screen and an acoustic signal is played. At the end of each ride, users can then rate the route planning, helping to continuously improve recommendations. This function is also available for navigation in the Flow app.

City of Tampa opens applications for its electric bike voucher program (thatssotampa.com)

The city of Tampa is looking to increase accessibility for alternative transit options with a new electric bike voucher program.

Income- qualified vouchers are double the value of their standard voucher counterparts to provide additional assistance to those who qualify. In addition to meeting the application requirements above, program applicants must also agree to: Vouchers provided through this program range in value from $500 to $2,000 based on the voucher type and the applicant’s income qualifications.

Spotted: Silverback Bikes' Carbon Enduro eBike (Bikerumor)

Germany's Silverback Bikes, with goals to be a bike industry giant, released a carbon, full-suspension enduro eBike with the S-Electro Pro CF.

The S-Electro Pro-CF is powered by the Shimano EP8 electric motor. The Pro CF uses a carbon frame that includes full internal cable/hose routing. The S-Electro Pro CF is Silverback’s flagship enduro bike with geometry that they say resembles their new Slider Enduro bike.
